About Me

Hi, I’m Kay Delaney. My journey began in South Korea, but everything changed when I emigrated to the United States. Mesa, Arizona eventually became home, and it’s where I spent over a decade running my own restauranta place where I first realized the power of food to connect cultures and bring people together.

In 2009, I launched Yashi Fine Foods, laying the groundwork for what would later become Ahssa Gourmet Sauce. By 2016, I was ready to bring my vision for clean, flavor-packed, Korean-inspired sauces to a wider audience.

Ahssa means awesome in Korean slang, and that playful spirit is woven into every bottle we make. Crafted in small batches, my sauces are low-calorie and free from high-fructose corn syrup, fat, and cholesterol made for families like mine who crave bold flavor without compromise.

Ahssa has always been a family affair. My grandson designed our wild-haired logo when he was just nine, and my son helps me keep our digital community active and engaging. From Walmart to Amazon to AJ’s Fine Foods, our products are reaching more kitchens than I ever imagined all from right here in Mesa, Arizona.

In 2025, I began a new chapter: writing. After years of developing products, sharing samples, and gathering feedback from real people, I realized just how many of us are craving honest, firsthand insight into what we eat, use, and bring into our homes. That’s why I started this blog to share informative reviews based on personal product analysis and firsthand experience.

From healthy cooking tools to wellness essentials, pantry upgrades, and cultural staples, I write about the things I actually use, test, and believe in. My goal is simple: to help you navigate everyday choices with more clarity, confidence, and curiosity just like I did in my kitchen all those years ago.
